SoFi Stadium workers’ union reaches deal to avoid strike for World Cup

The union that represents concession workers at SoFi Stadium has reached a tentative agreement to prevent a strike, just days before the World Cup is set to begin.

Unite Here Local 11, which includes nearly 2,000 individuals such as cooks, dishwashers, concession workers, bartenders, and servers at the stadium, announced on Tuesday morning that they have come to an agreement with Legends Hospitality.

Following a series of demands, the union announced on Tuesday that they had achieved success on every significant issue presented during negotiations.

This agreement was finalized only three days before the match between the US and Paraguay at SoFi Stadium.
