Sofia Richie has revealed that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Elliot Grainge.
On Thursday, October 16, 2023, Richie, 27 years old, shared an adorable photo on Instagram showcasing her baby bump to announce her exciting news.
Richie captioned the post, “On my way to launch these babies 👶🏻 + @srgatelier,” simultaneously revealing details about her new fashion venture, SRG Atelier.
Supportive fans quickly filled the comments section with congratulations for the soon-to-be mother of two.
One ecstatic follower commented, “Omg congrats beautiful!” while another echoed, “Mother is mothering again 👑.”
This will mark the second child for Richie and Grainge, 31, who began their romance in January 2021.
In April of 2022, the couple announced their engagement, with Richie sharing a photo of the proposal on Instagram, captioning it, “Forever isn’t long enough @elliot.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly at that time, “Sofia is over the moon about her engagement. She couldn’t be happier that she found The One. She’s enjoying being engaged and traveling with Elliot while starting to plan the wedding.”
Richie and Grainge wed at the picturesque Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rock in Antibes, France, in April 2023 and subsequently welcomed their first child, a daughter named Eloise Samantha Grainge, in May 2024.
Richie initially revealed her first pregnancy in January 2024 during an interview with Vogue, discussing the moment they discovered they were expecting.
“I found out very, very early,” she said. “I was about four weeks along, on a quick trip to Milan for fashion week and thought I was just jet-lagged.”

Richie revealed the moment they received the pregnancy test result was filled with emotion.
“He was so excited, and we both cried,” she recalled. “It was overwhelming and hard not to shout it from the rooftops.”
The model, who was already six months pregnant when sharing her pregnancy revelation, elaborated on why she kept the news low-key.
“Pregnancy can be intimidating, and safeguarding that experience was vital,” she said. “I didn’t realize how many milestones and tests you need to pass. It was crucial for us to maintain our mental well-being and relationship space.”
Richie later discussed her first pregnancy and her experiences as a new mom on the “Therapuss” podcast in November 2024.
“My life makes sense now,” she shared. “I’ve never loved anything more in my life. I’m enamored with her; she’s perfect.”
Reflecting on her journey, she added, “It was beautiful. I always tell my friends, ‘Oh, it got intense,’ but I felt empowered throughout. I realized how incredible it is to bring a life into this world.”
Richie celebrated the arrival of her child by posting on Instagram on May 24, 2024, sharing a black-and-white image of her newborn’s tiny feet.
“Eloise Samantha Grainge 👣 5•20•24 best day of my life 👣,” she captioned the emotional reveal.
