SoMe Solutions, a leading Nigerian communications and media consultancy, is celebrating its 9th anniversary with the launch of The Unicorn Project. This bold initiative is a give-back campaign aimed at elevating one exceptional women-led brand into national visibility and long-term impact. In partnership with PremiaBN, the project seeks to empower underrepresented female founders through a comprehensive brand transformation package valued at ₦20 million. This package includes strategic PR, influencer campaigns, branding, mentorship, and business development support.

The team behind The Unicorn Project emphasized that this initiative is more than just a giveaway—it is an investment in visibility, scale, and the next great African success story. The winning brand will have the opportunity to receive a range of benefits, including ₦20 million worth of brand support, strategic mentorship, media visibility, opportunities for funding and commercial partnerships, and a chance to become part of SoMe’s legacy of powerful African brand stories.

From amplifying brand voice to unlocking access to business networks, the selected brand will undergo a transformation designed to elevate it into unicorn potential—figuratively and perhaps even literally. The Unicorn Project is open to women-led brands based in Nigeria with a working product or service. Founders with little or no previous PR experience are encouraged to apply. The initiative is looking for real grit and potential, regardless of industry or sector.

The timeline for The Unicorn Project is as follows:

– Call for Applications: July 7 – August 7
– Top 20 Announcement: August 30
– Top 20 Interviews: September 3 – 5
– Finalist & Winner Announcement: September 9

Selected finalists will go through interviews, and the top brand will be revealed as the official “Unicorn” on September 9. Women founders ready to take their brand to the next level can apply through the provided link.

In conclusion, The Unicorn Project is a unique opportunity for women-led brands in Nigeria to receive comprehensive support and mentorship to elevate their visibility and impact. This initiative is a testament to SoMe Solutions’ commitment to empowering female entrepreneurs and driving positive change in the African business landscape.
