Speaker Mike Johnson appeared on Fox News, where he faced a challenging interview.
Johnson attempted to downplay voter concerns regarding the economy:
We have set all the economic conditions for a booming economy starting from the first quarter of this year. The conflict with Iran disrupted this progress, but with it soon to be resolved, gas and grocery prices should stabilize due to reduced transportation costs and oil prices.
Despite current challenges, we have delivered on our promises.

Under the current Republican leadership, the economy has yet to show significant growth. Actions taken by Republicans and Trump have negatively impacted the economy, and Johnson’s statements only add to the confusion.
