Samsung has recently released an updated version of its Always On Display (AOD) feature as part of the One UI 7 update, bringing several improvements to enhance user experience. One of the key highlights of this update is the improved integration of Google’s live sports updates, as well as a useful tweak to the Now Bar feature.

To install the update, users can navigate to the Galaxy Store, select Menu, and then click on Updates to check if version 8.8.25.5 is available for their device. It may take some time for the update to reach all eligible Galaxy phones and tablets.

According to a report from SammyGuru, Samsung has refined how Google’s live sports content is displayed in this version of the AOD app. The redesigned user interface is now cleaner and more organized, allowing users to easily view all the information at a glance.

Another significant improvement in this update is the introduction of a guided setup for Google Sports notifications on AOD. Previously, users had to navigate through multiple menus to set up sports updates, which could be frustrating. With this update, a step-by-step guide has been added to simplify the process of configuring sports preferences.

Additionally, the Now Bar feature has received a minor yet helpful tweak in this update. Users will now receive alerts for app notifications that may have been accidentally turned off, helping them identify and rectify any missed alerts more efficiently.

Overall, the latest update for Samsung’s AOD feature brings a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for Galaxy device owners. By incorporating improvements to Google sports updates and enhancing the Now Bar feature, Samsung continues to prioritize user convenience and satisfaction.
