Former Vaccine Regulator Joins Eli Lilly

Peter Marks, who previously held the top vaccine regulatory position at the FDA, has accepted a role at Eli Lilly, where he will focus on molecule discovery and infectious disease initiatives. His departure from the FDA came after being asked to resign by health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. back in March, as reported by STAT’s Lizzy Lawrence. Marks expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to support public health through the advancement of infectious disease products. Read further.
