In a swift turn of events, the statue depicting President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein holding hands has been unceremoniously removed from the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
This bronze-colored creation appeared just a day earlier, positioned less than a mile from the seat of power, but by the following morning, it was but a memory.
The U.S. Department of the Interior explained to TMZ that the removal was due to a lack of compliance with the issued permit.

Towering at 12 feet, the statue featured the joyful duo frolicking atop a plaque that proclaimed, “Best Friends Forever … We celebrate the enduring friendship between President Donald J. Trump and his ‘closest friend,’ Jeffrey Epstein.”
In response to the statue’s brief existence, Trump took aim at those behind its installation, with a White House spokesperson declaring to TMZ, “Liberals are free to waste their resources however they wish. However, it’s no secret that Epstein and Trump once knew each other. We know Trump expelled Epstein from his club due to his questionable behavior.”
One might recall that Trump has openly acknowledged a past friendship with Epstein, which soured upon learning of Epstein’s alleged illicit activities involving young women at Mar-a-Lago. Interestingly, Trump has claimed he barred Epstein from his Florida estate not just for his actions but because he was allegedly poaching staff.
Earlier this month, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released records from Epstein’s estate, including a “birthday book” containing an alleged incriminating message from Trump. However, the President has vehemently denied any involvement with this particular item.
