Ben Roethlisberger is confident that Aaron Rodgers will have a strong comeback season in 2025. The veteran quarterback, who suffered an Achilles injury in 2023, returned to the field in 2024 but faced challenges with his rhythm and mobility early on. However, as the season progressed, Rodgers started to find his form, finishing the year with impressive numbers.

Roethlisberger, who himself went through a challenging recovery process after elbow surgery in 2019, believes that Rodgers will have a mental breakthrough this season. He emphasized the importance of the psychological aspect of recovery in unlocking peak performance. With Rodgers leading the New York Jets, Roethlisberger sees the veteran quarterback providing invaluable experience and a competitive edge in high-pressure situations.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, under head coach Mike Tomlin, have not won a playoff game since 2016. Rodgers’ presence on the team not only adds experience but also the ability to perform under pressure, something the franchise has been missing since Roethlisberger’s retirement. Rodgers is also on the cusp of achieving personal milestones, with just over 1,000 passing yards separating him from Roethlisberger’s career total.

Despite the looming records, Rodgers remains focused on the upcoming season. In a recent interview, he hinted that 2025 could potentially be his last season in the NFL, leaving the door open for retirement after his 21st campaign. As Rodgers prepares for what could be a defining season, Roethlisberger is confident that the quarterback will deliver a standout performance and lead the Jets to success.

As Rodgers looks to make a lasting impact in what may be his final season, the NFL community eagerly anticipates his return to the field. With Roethlisberger’s endorsement and the support of his team, Rodgers is poised to make a significant impact in the league and cement his legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation.
