Smith Show,” he expressed a dire warning for the Democratic Party: “Ladies and gentlemen, let me be very, very clear: If the Democratic Party aligns itself with the ideology of Zohran Mamdani — whom I actually like, no shade intended — you have no chance. You have no chance on a national scale regarding the presidency, Senate seats, or House seats. You have no chance. Let me be clear.”
Smith emphasized that while a democratic socialist may occasionally find a niche within the party, that does not reflect America’s core identity. “America is about capitalism! America is about dollars and cents! America is about a flourishing economy, okay!? And you know what it’s not about? Free stuff.”
