Stephen Colbert, host of the “Late Show,” discussed the anticipation surrounding President Donald Trump’s response to the escalating military tensions between Israel and Iran.

Colbert humorously recounted Trump’s announcement regarding the installation of “tall” and “tapered” flagpoles at the White House, dubbing them as “the most magnificent poles made.”

During the pole-raising ceremony, Trump avoided using a certain word, hinting at its initial letter being ‘E.’ Colbert playfully suggested the word might be “Eric.”

Commenting on the event, Colbert joked about the potential consequences of searching for “tall tapered magnificent pole” on an office computer.
