A fortunate survivor of The Dating Game Killer, Rodney Alcala, has shared her harrowing experience of visiting him in prison in search of answers about why he spared her life. The woman, who was targeted by Alcala when she was just 14 years old, recounted the chilling encounter that took place over 40 years ago.

She described how she first met Alcala in a bookstore in 1969, where he approached her and struck up a conversation. Little did she know at the time that she was in the presence of a notorious serial killer who would go on to terrorize countless victims. It wasn’t until years later that she discovered the true extent of Alcala’s crimes and decided to confront him about their past encounter.

In 2013, she mustered the courage to visit Alcala in prison, where he was serving time for the rape and murder of several young women. As she sat face to face with him, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of fear and unease, knowing the atrocities he had committed. Despite his frail appearance, Alcala’s presence still instilled a sense of dread in her.

During their meeting, Alcala seemed unable to recall their previous interaction, prompting the survivor to remind him of the terrifying incident that had unfolded all those years ago. She recounted how Alcala had lured her to his apartment under false pretenses, only to reveal a collection of disturbing photographs that hinted at his dark and twisted nature.

As the survivor shared her story with Alcala, she couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that lingered in the air. She described how Alcala’s demeanor shifted, his anger simmering beneath the surface as he tried to downplay his heinous actions. Despite his attempts to minimize the impact of his crimes, the survivor stood her ground and refused to let him manipulate the narrative.

In the end, the survivor left the prison without the closure she had hoped for. Alcala’s true motives remained shrouded in mystery, leaving her to grapple with the haunting memories of their encounter. She reflected on her narrow escape, realizing that she had been one of the lucky few who managed to evade the clutches of a remorseless killer.

The survivor’s story serves as a chilling reminder of the darkness that lurks in the world, and the resilience of those who have faced unimaginable horrors. Her bravery in confronting her past and seeking answers from her would-be assailant is a testament to the strength of the human spirit in the face of unspeakable evil.
