Taylor Swift has received an instrumental boost in her ongoing battle against harassment, as a court has just granted her a restraining order against a persistent figure who claims outrageous facets of her life, including an alleged paternity.

The court documents reveal that a 45-year-old man, identified as Brian Jason Wagner, is now legally bound to keep a distance of at least 100 yards from the pop sensation for a substantial period of five years.

Wagner is not permitted to come within proximity of Swift’s Los Angeles residence, any of her vehicles, or her workplace. Additionally, the judicial directive prevents him from engaging with her in any form, whether it be face-to-face, in writing, or through digital channels.

Moreover, the court has explicitly prohibited him from possessing firearms, ammunition, or body armor for the duration of this ruling, requiring him to hand over any such items to law enforcement authorities.

This saga has been unfolding for some time, as we initially covered back in June—when Swift was granted a temporary restraining order after Wagner was reported to have shown up at her home on two consecutive days in May, apparently even managing to alter his address to synchronize with hers.

Swift also indicated that Wagner attempted to redirect mail sent to her residence and inundated her with lengthy, menacing electronic communications, contributing to an atmosphere of fear and instability.

Skipping the hearing on Tuesday, it appears Wagner currently resides in Colorado, far from the glamorous streets of Los Angeles.

One can only hope that this legal measure succeeds in securing a safe distance between him and the ever-popular “TayTay.”
