A Georgia high school science teacher is facing 27 charges for allegedly engaging in sexual activities with at least seven students while reportedly moonlighting on OnlyFans.
Maris Nichols, 25, appeared in court on Thursday wearing beige jail attire and glasses. She was indicted by a grand jury for a series of alleged offenses, according to 11Alive.
Nichols, who taught at Alexander High School and is currently suspended, was arrested twice last month as new accusations emerged following the initial complaint.
She surrendered on Wednesday after prosecutors sought to revoke her bond, citing 85 violations in one month. Her charges have been increased to 27 counts, involving seven different accusers.
Among Nichols’ charges, eight are related to sexual contact. She also faces accusations of sexual exploitation of children, child cruelty, grooming, molestation, evidence tampering, and creating obscene material for minors.
It is alleged that Nichols, a biology teacher, was blackmailed by students over her OnlyFans account to receive better grades. She is accused of helping to create explicit content featuring children.
Her next court hearing is scheduled for Monday, with her arraignment set for August 4.
Prosecutors argue she poses a “significant threat to the community,” and she will remain in custody, according to court documents viewed by The Post.
Nichols was first arrested on May 8, accused of having sex with a student twiceāonce in a closet and again in a Hummer parked on a driveway.
She allegedly had sex with another boy in his car at a golf course and sent explicit messages to other teens, including nude photos to one girl and discussions about the “Fifty Shades of Grey” series.
One allegation includes her having sex with a victim while wearing a “Jesus Loves You” sweater.
The ages of the victims have not been disclosed, although at least two were reportedly under 16, as per WSB.
Nichols had been released on a $74,000 bond but committed multiple house arrest violations, including visits to places where children were present.
Her bond conditions stipulated avoiding Alexander High, where she was employed since 2023, and prohibited contact with children, except her 6-year-old daughter.
