As Team USA athletes compete for gold in northern Italy, one American luger is also on a quest for love at this year’s Winter Olympics.

Sophia Kirkby, known as the games’ “most eligible bachelorette,” took to social media to announce her single status before her Olympic debut, promising to share her dating adventures with fans in Cortina.

Kirkby, also known as the “pin trading queen,” made history in Italy by becoming one of the first American women to compete in the doubles luge event.

She has been actively seeking dates during the Olympics, even offering to trade a pin for a coffee meet-up with fans.

Kirkby has been open about her emotions at her first Olympics, revealing the absence of her parents, with touching quotes from them written on her gloves.

Although the Americans finished fifth in the team relay event, Kirkby expressed pride in her team’s performance.
