Mother Hospitalized After Stroke

It’s been a frightening experience for Jenelle Evans as her mother, Barbara, was recently admitted to the hospital following a stroke.
According to sources, Barbara experienced a stroke last week but has now been discharged and is recuperating at home, with expectations of a complete recovery.
Jenelle has returned to North Carolina to be with her mother and family. After relocating to Nevada over a year ago, Jenelle was unable to fly back sooner due to recent sinus surgery.
Barbara, who appeared with Jenelle on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” back in 2009, also featured prominently in “Teen Mom 2,” during which Jenelle’s relationship with her mom saw many ups and downs from 2011 to 2019.
Jenelle and Barbara have previously experienced custody disputes regarding Jenelle’s son, Jace, but it appears they have reconciled recently.
As previously reported, Jace moved out of Jenelle’s home in Nevada to stay with a relative in North Carolina after an argument that resulted in the leaking of private messages.
