Man Slashed on M Train Platform
The 28-year-old victim was standing on the southbound M train platform at 42nd Street-Bryant Park around 9 a.m. when a scuffle broke out with another individual. The situation quickly escalated, leading to the suspect cutting the victim on the arm before fleeing on an incoming train.
The suspect, described as having a medium complexion and standing around 5 feet 9, was wearing a black hat, beige shirt, and green jacket at the time of the incident. The victim was promptly taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
Teen Stabbed on M Train
In a separate incident on Monday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed on board a southbound M train at the Court Square-23rd Street station. The altercation involved a dispute with a man believed to be in his 20s, who suddenly stabbed the teen in the stomach around 12:30 p.m.
The injured teenager was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center and is also in stable condition. The suspect, dressed in all black, fled the scene following the attack, and no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
