Valorant patch 10.09 notes have been released, bringing significant changes to Tejo, the latest Initiator Agent, and slight nerfs to Breach. This update is the second update of Season 25 Act 2 and will be deployed in the Americas on May 13, 2025, and in the rest of the world on May 14. Let’s delve into the detailed changes mentioned in Valorant patch 10.09 notes.

Valorant patch 10.09 notes: Changes for all platforms

Agent updates

Tejo

The developers have acknowledged that Tejo has been overperforming in certain aspects. They have made adjustments to make Tejo’s rockets more balanced and increase the commitment required to use them effectively. Here are the changes made to Tejo’s abilities:

  • Guided Salvo
    • Cost: 150
    • Grants a free charge on round start
    • Each rocket used will consume 1 charge
    • Cooldown has been removed
    • Map Targeting Range decreased from 55 m to 45 m
  • Stealth Drone
  • Special Delivery
  • Armageddon
    • Ult points increased from 8 to 9

      Breach

The developers felt that Breach’s Fault Line ability needed adjustments to provide more counterplay opportunities. The following change has been made:

  • Fault Line
    • Time until Fault Line detonates after its cast increased from 1 second to 1.2 seconds

      General updates

      Gifting

Due to popular demand, the limit of gifts you can send to your friends has been increased from 5 to 10 gifts per day starting May 15. This change coincides with the release of the Give Back // V25 Collection in the Featured Store, where every gift from this bundle contributes to charity.

      Modes updates

      Swiftplay

Starting ultimate points for certain Agents have been adjusted to ensure a better chance of using their ultimates within a half. The changes are as follows:

  • Breach – Rolling Thunder starting points increased from 2 to 3
  • Killjoy – Lockdown starting points increased from 2 to 3
  • Viper – Viper’s Pit starting points increased from 2 to 3

    Bug fixes

    Cosmetics

Several cosmetic bugs have been fixed, including issues with the Bolt skinline and Kill Banners for specific skins.

    Known issues

The developers are aware of a bug with the Bolt skinline causing skins to glow excessively bright. This issue will be addressed in patch 10.11.

    Conclusion

The Valorant patch 10.09 notes bring significant changes to Tejo and Breach, along with adjustments to gifting limits and Swiftplay mode. Bug fixes and known issues are also addressed in this update. Stay tuned for more updates and improvements in future patches.
