Hulu has just announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated Season 3 of “Tell Me Lies,” which will debut on Jan. 13, 2026. The first two episodes will be available on that day, with the remaining six episodes streaming weekly until the finale on Feb. 24, 2026. Based on Carola Lovering’s novel, “Tell Me Lies” delves into the toxic relationship between two college students over an eight-year period.
The series stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Costa D’Angelo. In Season 3, Lucy Albright (played by Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (played by White) have reignited their tumultuous romance as they return to Baird College for the spring semester. Despite their best efforts to make things work this time around, past mistakes and secrets come back to haunt them, leading Lucy to get caught up in a scandal she wants no part of. As the repercussions of the previous year’s events unfold, their friends also find themselves facing their own destructive behaviors. The campus becomes a breeding ground for scandalous secrets and dangerous consequences that threaten everyone in Lucy’s circle.
The adaptation of the novel for television was done by Meaghan Oppenheimer, who also serves as the executive producer and showrunner. Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss, and Matt Matruski executive produce under their Belletrist banner, while Laura Lewis executive produces for Rebelle Media. Other executive producers include Shannon Gibson, Stephanie Noonan, Sam Schlaifer, and Tyne Rafaeli, who also directs the series. 20th Television is the production company behind the Hulu original series, with Carola Lovering serving as a consulting producer.
