But because her mom didn’t show up in the way she wanted her to, she feels like she has to go back to Evan. It’s a really sad cycle that I think a lot of people can relate to, unfortunately.
Do you think Bree sees herself as a villain in this situation?
Kind of. She knows that she’s done some really bad stuff. But at the same time, she also knows that she’s been through a lot. And she knows that she’s trying to do good, even if it’s not always the right way. I think she does see herself as a villain, but I think she sees herself as a villain that is trying to do the right thing. She’s not trying to hurt anybody. She’s just trying to get by in the world, and it’s hard for her. So yeah, I think she does see herself as a villain, but not a villain in the traditional sense. She’s just trying to survive.
What was your favorite scene to film in this episode?
My favorite scene to film was the scene where Bree and Wrigley are sitting in bed together. It’s a really beautiful scene, and we had a lot of fun doing it. It was a really cool scene to do with Spencer because he’s such a great actor, and he really brought it that night. It’s just a really sweet, tender moment between them, and I think it’s really special.
What can fans expect from the rest of the season for Bree?
Oh, my gosh, so much. So much. So much. Bree is going to go through a lot. She’s going to have some ups and downs, but I think ultimately she’s going to come out stronger. She’s going to learn a lot about herself, and she’s going to have some really cool relationships with people that she didn’t expect to have relationships with. It’s going to be a really cool season for Bree, and I’m excited for people to see where she goes from here.
