Teresa Giudice’s oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, is poised to soar from her family nest at the ripe age of 24.
In a candid moment during the iHeart Radio Music Festival on September 20, Gia shared, “Living at home as long as you want is perfectly normal. The timing of moving out is a personal choice.” Contrary to common societal pressures, she stated, “I wasn’t pushed, nor did I set any deadlines for myself. My mom isn’t rushing me out the door.”
After completing her college education, Gia returned to her New Jersey roots, where she temporarily resided with her mother, Teresa, 53, and her stepfather, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, until she felt prepared to embark on her next life adventure—which appears to be fast-approaching.
“I’m currently on the apartment hunt and plan to move out within the next month,” Gia expressed enthusiastically. “I’m eager for that solitary experience of independence—to tackle commuting and work from a fresh perspective. It’s exhilarating!”
While the prospect of moving out excites Gia, she has no regrets about her extended stay at home. “There’s nothing wrong with living at home,” she advised fellow graduates. “It’s smart to save your funds, especially in these times.” Notably, she referenced the recent dip in home interest rates, saying, “I read that rates fell to about 2.2%, so who knows, maybe in a year, I can make that big leap into homeownership.”
As she prepares to take flight towards independence, it’s clear that she will maintain a close bond with her family. In fact, Gia and Teresa have recently collaborated on Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

Expressing her excitement about the series, she mentioned, “I can’t wait for Special Forces to premiere. It’s set to air in just five days. This experience was raw and real, truly one of the most grueling feats I’ve faced.”
Gia hinted that Special Forces will delve into the evolving dynamics with her mother, providing viewers with insight into their relationship.
Reflecting on her experience, Gia noted, “I had deep conversations with my mom that we probably wouldn’t have engaged in otherwise, due to isolation from the rest of the world during filming.” She emphasized the emotional breakthroughs: “I learned to let go, which was an essential teaching from my Special Forces journey. I confronted anxiety and feelings of overwhelm—it transformed my life in ways I didn’t anticipate.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 4 is set to premiere on Fox this Thursday, September 25, at 9 p.m. ET.
