Melissa Rycroft has been taken into custody for allegedly driving while impaired this month, sources close to the situation report to TMZ.
According to law enforcement, the former ‘Bachelor’ contestant was apprehended for DWI in the Dallas/Fort Worth vicinity on September 23. After being detained and processed, she spent approximately 8 hours in jail before being released on a $1,000 bail, with an obligation to appear in court.
Details surrounding the arrest are currently sparse, but it is confirmed that she has a court appearance scheduled related to this incident.
Melissa Rycroft previously gained prominence as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and became well-known during season 13 of “The Bachelor,” where she competed for Jason Mesnick. She later showcased her skills on “Dancing with the Stars” and hosted reality series such as “Bachelor Pad.”
