The fissures in Donald Trump’s purported cover-up concerning Jeffrey Epstein have been widening for months, with the grand unveiling set to take place next week.
None of this momentum would have materialized without the courageous stand taken by four House Republicans who have defied Trump by signing a discharge petition aimed at compelling the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release pertinent files.

Without the signatures from Representatives Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace, Democrats would have fallen short of the necessary votes. These four representatives are steadfast in their decision, resisting Trump’s pressure to withdraw their support for the discharge petition.
The House is expected to vote on this matter this week. While securing a majority won’t directly lead to the release of the files, it will exert significant pressure on the Senate to consider the measure as well. Should the bill clear the Senate, it would force Trump into a position where he might have to veto it, thereby dragging his Epstein cover-up into the limelight.
In a recent appearance on ABC’s This Week, Rep. Massie was asked, “President Trump fought long and hard to prevent your discharge petition from going through. You won that battle. Now what happens? How many Republicans in the House will follow your lead and defy the president on this?”
