Donald Trump has publicly criticized James Comey, asserting that the former head of the FBI nearly sparked a war following his indictment for making false statements and obstruction of justice.

According to RadarOnline.com, Trump labeled Comey “one of the worst human beings this country has ever been exposed to,” expressing frustration over Comey’s initiation of Crossfire Hurricane, the extensive investigation into alleged Russian collusion that has been widely criticized as fruitless.

Trump stated, “Comey put a cloud over the entire nation, and his ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ hoax made governance extremely challenging,” adding ominously, “It could have led to wars.”

The legal issues facing Comey stem from his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 30, 2020, regarding Crossfire Hurricane, the controversial investigation that scrutinized Trump’s alleged connections to Russia.

Court documents revealed that while the grand jury issued two indictments against Comey, they declined to pursue a third charge of making false statements.

Comey plans to turn himself in to authorities on Friday and has accused Trump of tyranny, claiming his indictment is politically motivated.

Notably, recent information indicates that Lindsey Halligan, a rising figure in MAGA’s legal circles, expedited the indictment process. Halligan presented the case to the grand jury under Trump’s directive, bypassing the reservations of her team.

“The alleged charges represent a profound abuse of public trust,” Halligan remarked. “The balance of power represents a cornerstone of democracy and requires accountability from individuals in power responding to congressional oversight.”

Trump’s campaign of vengeance is not limited to Comey; his former advisor John Bolton may also soon face legal scrutiny.

Senior leaders at the Justice Department are pushing for charges against Bolton tied to allegations of mishandling national security documents.

Sources indicate that an attorney from the deputy attorney general’s office has pressed the Maryland U.S. attorney’s office for a formal charge against Bolton imminently, reflecting the administration’s intensified focus on perceived adversaries.

Investigative officials have collected various records from Bolton’s residence and workplace, many of which are marked as classified, indicating additional scrutiny may be required before filing charges.

Bolton’s legal representative, Abbe Lowell, has consistently maintained that the records in question are standard for a long-serving public official. “The documents with classification markings from 1998 to 2006 were likely typical of Ambassador Bolton’s tenure during the George W. Bush administration,” Lowell stated, asserting that a thorough evaluation will prove no wrongdoing on Bolton’s part.
