Aimee Osbourne: Forging Her Own Path in Music
While her family was in the spotlight during the heyday of their reality TV show, The Osbournes, Aimee Osbourne chose to stay out of the public eye. At the time, her father, Ozzy Osbourne, was in rehab, and her mother, Sharon, was battling colon cancer. Aimee, now known by her stage name ARO, decided to focus on her music career instead of chasing fame.
In a 2015 interview, Aimee reflected on her decision to distance herself from the chaotic lifestyle portrayed on The Osbournes. “They were very young, very impressionable,” she said of her siblings Jack and Kelly. “It didn’t matter what I thought, ultimately. This was their path, their decision.”
Despite the success of The Osbournes, Aimee remained steadfast in her choice to keep her private life separate from the public eye. “Aimee’s always been wise beyond her years,” a source close to the family revealed. “She knew early on that the rockstar lifestyle wasn’t for her.”
Instead of relying on her famous last name, Aimee worked hard to build her music career from the ground up. Her debut single, Raining Gold, was released in 2015 to critical acclaim. Most recently, Aimee collaborated with Fjora on the track Siren, which was released in November last year.
While Aimee’s siblings may have embraced the spotlight, Aimee has chosen to forge her own path in the music industry. With her unique sound and powerful vocals, Aimee Osbourne, aka ARO, is making a name for herself on her own terms.
