The post announcing Silva’s passing revealed that she had been hospitalized at São João Batista Hospital in Volta Redonda following the hemorrhagic stroke, which ultimately led to her untimely death. Described as an inspiration for many, especially young Black girls, Silva was praised for her talent, charisma, and representation in the music industry.

According to the Mayo Clinic, a hemorrhagic stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain leaks or bursts, causing bleeding and increased pressure on brain cells, ultimately leading to damage.
Karen is survived by her parents, Manoella and Fernando, as well as her boyfriend, Marcelo. Her memory will live on through her music and the impact she had on those who knew her.
