Alan Dershowitz, a former Democrat, strongly criticized the Democratic Party during a recent interview with Michael Cohen on WABCRadio.
Dershowitz, an American lawyer and former Harvard law professor renowned for his expertise in U.S. constitutional and criminal law, was once a vocal Democrat. However, his stance has changed.
Expressing his pride in joining the Republican Party, Dershowitz did not shy away from condemning what he views as the perilous and malevolent nature of the Democratic Party, likening it to Germany in 1932. His comments suggest that this comparison stems from perceived anti-Semitic sentiments within the party.
He also described the Democratic Party as “evil,” a sentiment claims to have recognized for years.
Alan Dershowitz: The Democratic Party is effectively stagnant. The concern is that they might succeed in the upcoming midterm elections, which would complicate matters. As a former Democrat, I’m doing my utmost to ensure the Democrats don’t win the midterms. I support the Republicans for this election.
I oppose individuals like AOC holding leadership positions or Liz Warren chairing committees. I don’t want Bernie Sanders wielding more influence.
The solution is to vote Republican. Although I don’t align with all Republican policies, I believe in choosing the lesser of two evils.
There’s no doubt in my mind that today, the Democrats are the evil party in America. They bear a resemblance to Germany in 1932. Some members, not all. If someone like Fetterman represented the Democratic Party, I would support them financially. However, he no longer embodies the Democratic Party.
Yesterday, he stated he would leave the Democratic Party if it became anti-Israel, which it appears to be heading towards.
They suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, where anything Trump does is wrong, and opposing him is right.
This isn’t beneficial for the American people. Hence, I’m proud to have left the Democratic Party and joined the Republicans.
