“Rumors of ‘Pork’ in the One Big Beautiful Bill: A Myth Busted”
It seems there’s been a misunderstanding — and no one articulates this better than White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who tackled the myth directly in a recent interview with Charlie Kirk.
“There is no pork in this bill. The details have been transparent for weeks. Each component reflects a campaign promise — a commitment made and kept. It represents the most extensive welfare reform in history. While you can absolutely advocate for even tighter fiscal policies, dismissing this bill as having pork is simply unfounded. It’s been out in the open for weeks, and the provisions included are nothing more than campaign pledges.”
