The Atlanta Hawks had a rough shooting night against the Milwaukee Bucks, particularly from beyond the arc. Despite their struggles, the Hawks managed to keep the game close but ultimately fell short, losing 112-110.

In the first half, the Hawks set a new NBA record for the worst 3-point shooting performance in a half, making only one shot out of 22 attempts, resulting in a dismal 4.5% shooting percentage. This performance broke the previous record held by the Portland Trail Blazers, who shot 7.4% from deep in a game against the Sacramento Kings.

Fans took to social media to poke fun at the Hawks for their poor shooting display. Some fans pointed out that scapegoating Trae Young, who was recently traded, may not have been the best move for the team. Others highlighted the difficulty of going 1 for 22 from beyond the arc and suggested that having Trae Young on the team would have made a difference.

However, the Hawks showed resilience in the second half, shooting 55.0% from deep and making a comeback against the Bucks. Leading the charge was Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who finished the game with 32 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Alexander-Walker’s strong performance, along with Jalen Johnson’s 28 points and 16 rebounds, kept the Hawks in the game.

Throughout the season, Alexander-Walker has been a consistent scorer for the Hawks, averaging 20.4 points per game. His stellar play was evident in the second half against the Bucks, where he outscored the opposition and nearly led the Hawks to a comeback victory.

In conclusion, despite their poor shooting performance in the first half, the Atlanta Hawks showed resilience and fought back in the second half, thanks to the efforts of Nickeil Alexander-Walker. The team may have lost the game, but they demonstrated their ability to compete against tough opponents.
