Ms Landino began managing social media accounts for small businesses

Amy Landino, a former college dropout, has transformed her love for video creation and social media into a profitable career, earning an impressive $18,000 per month in passive income.

After leaving college fifteen years ago with student loan debt and limited job opportunities, Ms Landino initially pursued a career in public policy. However, she soon discovered her true passion lay in the digital world.

She began sharing videos on YouTube, gradually building a loyal following and refining her skills. “I was excited to find a platform where I could upload my videos for free and share them with friends,” she shared with CNBC Make It.

Encouraged by a friend to turn her hobby into a profession, Ms Landino started managing social media accounts for small businesses. This eventually led her to quit her full-time job and focus on her burgeoning business.

A pivotal moment came when she launched an online course teaching businesses how to create videos, resulting in significant passive income from a single email. “That was my first taste of passive income—I earned around $1,000 in revenue in a day from one email,” she reflected.

Ms Landino’s success continued to soar as her YouTube channel, AmyTV, amassed over 1,000 videos and gained popularity for content like her goal-setting process. She also authored books and created a successful paper planner.

Today, her diverse income streams from YouTube ads, affiliate marketing, brand partnerships, and product sales collectively generate a substantial monthly passive income.
