Hank Haney, the ex-coach of Tiger Woods, recently reacted to a comparison of Woods’ performance stats against Phil Mickelson’s. Known for his comments on posts related to Woods, Haney shared a post that highlighted the difference in their majors’ collective scores. The post, originally made by an account named Shadow, pointed out that from 1997 to 2009, Woods finished with a combined score of -134 in majors, while Mickelson trailed behind at +99, resulting in a significant 233-stroke difference.

Tiger Woods, a golf legend, has an impressive record of 15 major championship victories in his career. This includes five Masters Tournament titles (1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2019), four PGA Championships (1999, 2000, 2006, and 2007), three US Open titles, and three Open Championships. On the other hand, Phil Mickelson has won six majors, with three Masters titles (2004, 2006, and 2010), two PGA Championships (2005 and 2021), and one Open Championship (2013).

In 2025, Tiger Woods participated in the TGL events and led his team, Jupiter Links, to victory in a match against Boston Common Golf. Reflecting on the experience, Woods mentioned the challenges of playing in a different format and adapting to the unique aspects of TGL, such as the moving greens and changing breaks. He praised his teammate TK and expressed satisfaction with the engaging atmosphere created during the event.

Notably, this victory was witnessed by Woods’ mother, Kultida Woods, who sadly passed away in February of the same year. Despite the personal loss, Woods’ dedication to the sport and his team remained unwavering.
