Just before her 3-year-old son tragically passed away in a drowning incident, TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser shared an emotional video about motherhood.
Emilie, a 26-year-old social media star, marked Mother’s Day with a touching post that included a video montage featuring her sons Teddy and Trigg, the latter of whom sadly lost his life on Sunday.
On Instagram, she wrote, “Forever grateful that I get to be a mommađ Happy Motherâs Dayđ·.”
In the video, set to Phoebe Bridgersâ track âScott Street,â Kiser enjoyed a picnic with her kids before Trigg ran over to give her a kiss.
Another clip showed the proud mom watching her husband Brady play with Trigg and toss him in the air.
âPOV: the joy of being a mother,â she captioned the sweet video.
Later that day, Kiser uploaded another clip where she reflected on her motherhood journey.
In a TikTok video, she said, âI seriously cannot believe that this Motherâs Day I have two kids. Not only two kids, two boys. Being a mom is truly the most amazing thing while simultaneously being scary, terrifying, hard, beautiful, amazing. Literally all of the emotions in one. Seriously just so grateful to be a mom.â
Emilie had been open about her desire to expand her family after welcoming Trigg in July 2021.
She and her husband welcomed their second child, Teddy, in March.
The following month, Emilie, who has 3.1 million TikTok followers and over 1 million Instagram followers, showcased their new daily routine.
In an Instagram video on April 3, she said, âI thought it would be fun to do a little night vlog with our new norm, which is two kids. Which is crazy to say.â
âI have a feeling itâs going to be a bit of a long night because every night is a long night with a newborn, but thank you so much for watching,â she said, adding that the video showed their âfirst full day at home.â
After the tragic death of her 3-year-old son on May 18, police are investigating the incident where Trigg was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at their Arizona home.
Chandler Police Department officials confirmed that the child had passed away following the tragic incident, which had left him hospitalized in critical condition on May 12, according to KBTX.
To respect the family’s privacy, authorities have chosen not to disclose further details about the child’s condition and have extended their condolences to the Kiser family.
