In case you missed it, during her emotionally charged remarks, Erika expressed her forgiveness for Tyler Robinson, the individual accused of killing Charlie Kirk. The audience responded with thunderous applause as she stated, “I forgive him because it is what Christ did,” emphasizing, “The answer to hate is not hate.”
On Thursday, Tim took to X to express how deeply moved he was by Erika’s profound act of forgiveness.
Tim shared that he has faced a personal struggle for over six decades, grappling with the difficult choice to forgive the man who ended his father’s life. His father tragically passed away in 1964 due to a drunk driving incident, a loss Tim endured when he was merely 11 years old.
He went on to declare, “I will utter those words now as I type: ‘I forgive the man who killed my father.’ May peace be with you all.”
As a reminder, Charlie Kirk was tragically killed while delivering a speech to college students at Utah Valley University.
Tyler Robinson has since been arrested and faces numerous charges, including aggravated murder along with felony firearms offenses that resulted in serious injury. He could potentially face the death penalty.
