Timothy Olyphant Joins Cast of “The Five-Star Weekend” Series Adaptation

Timothy Olyphant has been confirmed as the latest addition to the star-studded cast of the upcoming series adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel “The Five-Star Weekend” on Peacock. This exclusive news was reported by Variety.

The show already boasts an impressive lineup of actors, including Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Gemma Chan, and D’Arcy Carden.

The official synopsis of the series reads:

“Hollis Shaw (Garner), a renowned food influencer renowned for her delectable recipes, impeccable taste, and warm personality, experiences a tragic loss. Struggling to move forward, the tragedy begins to unravel the facade of Hollis’s seemingly perfect life – her strained marriage, complex relationship with her daughter, and her increasing need for validation from her followers. In an attempt to heal from grief and rediscover herself, Hollis decides to host a weekend getaway at her Nantucket home with three friends from different stages of her life: childhood, twenties, thirties, and a surprise fifth star. Against the backdrop of luxury and the coast, they will undergo profound personal growth as boundaries are tested and secrets are revealed.”

Olyphant will portray the character of Jack in the series.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Olyphant would be starring in the Apple TV+ series “Lucky” alongside Anya-Taylor Joy. He also recently appeared in the Apple comedy series “Stick” with Owen Wilson. Fans can look forward to seeing him in the upcoming FX series “Alien: Earth,” set to premiere in August.

Olyphant is best known for his role as US Marshall Raylan Givens in the FX series “Justified,” for which he received critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination. He has also starred in HBO’s “Deadwood” and made appearances in popular shows like “The Mandalorian” and “Santa Clarita Diet.” His film credits include “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “Amsterdam.”

The show is produced by UCP, with Dinner Party currently holding an overall deal with the studio.
