An alleged incident has emerged nearly five years after Josh Duggar’s arrest. Josh, now 38, was taken into custody by Homeland Security in April 2021 on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.
Reports indicate that Josh allegedly utilized the “dark web and online file-sharing software” to repeatedly download “child sexual abuse material from the internet” in 2019.
In December 2021, Josh was convicted on all charges, and by May 2022, he received a sentence of 12 and a half years. His expected release is slated for August 2032.
Long before Josh’s legal troubles, the Duggar family, known from their TLC show, was no stranger to controversy as they gained fame on the network.
In 2015, Josh admitted to molesting several young girls, including his sisters Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, during their teenage years.
Josh also encountered marital issues, having used the Ashley Madison website to cheat on his wife, Anna Duggar.
He subsequently entered a long-term treatment facility.
