Requests Joint Custody of Son

Tobey Maguire has finally responded to his estranged wife’s divorce petition, nearly 5 years after she filed. He is seeking joint custody of their 16-year-old son, Otis.
In the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the “Spider-Man” star is requesting joint legal and physical custody of Otis.
Tobey filed his response on Wednesday, almost 5 years after Jennifer Meyer initially filed for divorce in October 2020.
In the documents, Tobey also requests that child support and spousal support issues be settled through private mediation, indicating they have a prenuptial agreement.
It’s no surprise that Tobey took almost 5 years to respond, as Jennifer’s filing came almost 4 years after they announced their separation.
Jennifer and Tobey also share a daughter, Ruby, who turned 18 in November, eliminating any custody disputes as she is now an adult.
The divorce proceedings may be slow, but Jennifer has already moved on and announced her engagement to billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi last August.
