Tommy Fleetwood, the English golfer, recently shared his thoughts on life after parting ways with Nike, his long-time apparel sponsor. Since ending his contract with the sportswear giant, Fleetwood has been enjoying the freedom to explore different brands and choose his outfits each week.

After being with Nike since 2010, Fleetwood is currently without a full apparel sponsor. However, he expressed that he is in no rush to sign a new contract and is relishing the opportunity to experiment with various clothing options. He mentioned that he appreciates the luxury of trying out different brands and styles, something he hadn’t been able to do for a long time.

Despite the split with Nike, Fleetwood continues to wear the brand’s golf shoes. However, his apparel choices have become more diverse, with him sporting clothing from brands like Lululemon, Vuori, and G/FORE, as well as outfits from host venues. His attire at different events has garnered attention, such as wearing Pebble Beach branded apparel at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red line at the Genesis Invitational.

Fleetwood highlighted his enjoyment of wearing items linked to specific courses, a freedom he didn’t have under a single brand deal. He mentioned his kids’ excitement over the Pebble Beach clothing and expressed gratitude for being able to wear such unique pieces.

While Fleetwood has not yet announced a new apparel partnership, he remains one of the most prominent players on tour without a clothing sponsor. Speculation swirls around which brand he might choose next, with potential options including Lululemon, Sun Day Red, and Vuori, among others.

Each of these brands offers unique opportunities for Fleetwood, with Lululemon expanding its presence in golf, Sun Day Red seeking to grow its roster of tour players, and Vuori focusing on performance apparel inspired by an active lifestyle. Fleetwood’s connection with TaylorMade could also play a role in his decision-making process.

For now, Fleetwood seems content exploring different outfit choices as he navigates his post-Nike era. His recent appearances in a variety of brands have kept fans and industry insiders guessing about his next move. As he continues to showcase his talent on the course, all eyes will be on Tommy Fleetwood to see what the future holds in terms of his apparel partnerships.
