Tory Lanez Stabbed 14 Times, Lungs Collapsed In Prison Attack

Tory Lanez was rushed to the hospital in critical condition following a vicious attack by a fellow inmate wielding a prison shank. The rapper sustained over a dozen stab wounds all over his body, resulting in collapsed lungs.

Tory endured 14 stab wounds, including 7 in his back, 4 in his torso, 2 in the back of his head, and 1 in the left side of his face.

With both lungs collapsed, Tory required a breathing apparatus initially, but he is now able to breathe on his own, as reported by his team.

Despite the intense pain, Tory Lanez remains in good spirits and is grateful for surviving the harrowing ordeal. He expresses his gratitude to all his supporters and credits his faith for his recovery.

Tory’s attorney, Jose Baez, provided an update stating that Tory is expected to make a full recovery and is currently in a positive state of mind.

The attack took place at around 7:20 AM in the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. Tory was immediately transported to Kern Medical Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

Tory Lanez, also known as Daystar Peterson, is currently serving a sentence for the 2020 shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion. He received a 10-year prison term in 2023 for the offense.
