Florida Tourist Tragedy: Three Victims Killed in Random Attack
The families of three tourists who were brutally murdered in a random attack in Florida have spoken out about the tragic incident. Douglas Kraft, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, Robert Kraft, 70, of Holland, Michigan, and James Puchan, 68, of Galena, Ohio, were in Florida to attend a car show when they were senselessly gunned down by Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, a local man with a history of violent crimes, including attempted murder.
The victims were in Florida for the Mecum Car Show and were staying at an Airbnb with their brothers and longtime friends. According to the families, the three men were waiting for assistance after experiencing rental car trouble when they were stalked and ultimately attacked by Bojeh, who was known to local law enforcement.
The families described Douglas, Robert, and James as “three wonderful men” whose deaths have left them with an unimaginable loss. The victims had no prior interaction with Bojeh before the tragic event took place.
Bojeh, whose residence was located next to the property where the victims were staying, was apprehended just an hour after the murders and has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder. This was not Bojeh’s first brush with the law, as he was previously charged with attempted murder in connection to a shooting at a Wawa gas station in Kissimmee in 2021, although he was acquitted on grounds of insanity.
The families of the victims are now grappling with the sudden and senseless loss of their loved ones, as they seek justice for the heinous crime that took place in Florida.
