Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged personalized vows during their wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is currently under scrutiny following the resurfacing of tweets he made 16 years ago.
On Monday’s “CBS Morning” show, the host disclosed that Swift expressed a wish to have met Kelce in high school. At that time, Kelce was known for sitting with less popular kids and being kind to them when they were bullied.
Thanks for the submission!
A fan on X posted a collage of Kelce’s tweets from 2010, accusing him of being a bully.

In one of the tweets, Kelce called for beauty tests for cheerleaders and made several jokes about overweight girls. Although these tweets are old, they do not reflect the message Kelce wishes to convey to his fans.
The wedding ceremony included many personal touches. Swift walked down the aisle in a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown with a dramatic train, while Kelce wore a bespoke white Dior tuxedo.
Adam Sandler, a longtime friend, officiated the ceremony, where Swift and Kelce exchanged their self-written vows. Swift’s brother, Austin, was the Man of Honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, served as the best man.
Outside the venue, digital jumbotrons showcased a customized “JusT&T Married” graphic with the couple’s initials. The Empire State Building was illuminated in blue to mark the occasion.
