Jordan Chiles had an exceptional 2024, culminating in a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Her success has now been recognized as she has been named in Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 list. Reflecting on this milestone, Chiles expressed her gratitude for the honor.
Chiles kicked off her season at the U.S. Core Hydration Classic, where she secured bronze in the all-around and uneven bars. She continued to impress at the US National Championships, claiming silver on the bars. Her performance at the Olympic Team Trials earned her a spot at her second Games.
At the Paris Olympics, the 23-year-old played a significant role in helping the US team secure gold in the team event. She stated, “I am so happy to be honored this year by Ebony Magazine as a Power 100 honoree in the category of Leaders In Sports. Being recognized alongside such incredible individuals from our own community is truly humbling, and I’m grateful for this platform that is not only of the culture, but for the culture! Thank you, EBONY, for celebrating how WE show up and for truly moving Black forward. #EBONYPOWER100.”
