President Trump and First Lady Melania Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Mar-a-Lago
President Trump called for “peace on Earth” as he prepared to ring in the new year with First Lady Melania Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla., Wednesday.
The president, dressed in a tuxedo, briefly spoke to reporters outside the club’s ballroom, with Melania standing by his side in a stunning silver dress.
“Peace on Earth,” Trump said in response to a question about his 2026 resolution, before heading in for the New Year’s Eve bash.
Inside the packed ballroom, Trump assured guests that the country is “doing great.”
“We’re back. We’re strong,” he added.
The president then vowed to “get to the bottom” of allegations of rampant welfare fraud in Minnesota, before turning the stage over to an artist for a live painting.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and several other distinguished guests were in attendance at the event.
The president’s eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, along with his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, were spotted at the celebration.
Various Trump administration officials and allies, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, were also present at the celebration.
Emirati billionaire Hussain Sajwani, who pledged to invest $20 billion in US data centers, was seen at the black-tie affair.
“We have a lot of leaders,” Trump remarked about the attendees.
The exclusive event also featured Christian worship painter Vanessa Horabuena creating a speed-painting of Jesus, which the president announced would be auctioned off for charity.
“These people are loaded with cash,” Trump jokingly remarked.
The high bidder pledged $2.5 million for the local sheriff’s department and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
