President Trump Attends College Football Playoff National Championship in Miami
President Trump received a warm reception from sports fans as he made an appearance at the College Football Playoff National Championship in Miami on Monday. The event took place at the Hard Rock Stadium, where the Miami Hurricanes and the Indiana Hoosiers were competing for the title.
During the singing of the national anthem, Trump waved to the crowd from a suite at the stadium. His daughter, Ivanka Trump, and three of his grandchildren were also present in the suite.
Kai Trump, daughter of Don Jr. and an incoming University of Miami golfer, was seen wearing a cast on her arm, smiling as the camera focused on Trump’s booth.
In a statement released by the White House, Trump congratulated both teams for making it to the championship game. “God bless the talented players and dedicated coaches, the families who love and support them, and the faithful fans who cheer them on,” Trump said. “May the best team win!”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a Miami native and Hurricanes fan, was also spotted at the event with his Secret Service detail. He was seen chatting with former quarterback Tim Tebow during the pre-game festivities.
