President Trump has instructed his administration to evaluate which federal funding might be withheld from Portland, Oregon, due to the ongoing protests against ICE, as announced by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt during an infrequent Friday briefing.
“I just had a conversation with the president about this, and he has charged his team at the White House with reviewing potential aid cuts for Portland,” she stated.
“We will not support states that permit anarchy.”

Portland’s ICE Office Director, Cammila Wamsley, mentioned that the protests have escalated beyond mere signs and chants, with bottle rockets striking the ICE building and breaking windows.
