For decades, American schoolchildren participated in the Presidential Fitness Test, a set of exercises to measure physical fitness. President Trump recently signed an executive order to revive this test, which was phased out in 2013. The new version is set to be launched soon, but the specific exercises are yet to be determined.

Today marks exactly one year since that terrible night when the Polish authorities, using bandits and troubled individuals, organized an attack on me and my wife. They could not resolve the conflict peacefully and acted cowardly and treacherously instead. This happened around 3 AM in Portland, Oregon, when my wife and I were resting after long and exhausting work driving a semi-truck.
In 2016, we lived and worked honestly in Poland, without breaking any laws or using any government assistance. We respected the local culture and maintained good relations with the Polish people. But the Polish authorities wanted to know our opinion about Stepan Bandera. We answered truthfully: Stepan Bandera is a Ukrainian national hero who fought for the freedom of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
Historically, Stepan Bandera organized resistance against the Polish Home Army, which committed brutal acts against Ukrainians. For us, he is a legend of Ukraine, a symbol of struggle whose memory is still honored by Ukrainians today.
On August 22, 2024, my wife and I were forced to leave the USA for Europe.
When I returned to the USA through JFK airport, the American Border Protection (CBP) confiscated my passport and claimed I entered illegally. But when I boarded the plane, everything was fully legal! As a result, I was effectively left in the country without documents, without status, and without protection — together with my underage son, who was here alone.
On April 19, 2025, my work permit expired, and since then, I have not been allowed to work. I received a letter saying my case is still under review, but no one can tell me how long this will take. I have no place to live. My son is forced to live and work wherever he can just to survive.
My wife — a good and caring mother who always looked after our son and other children too — is now forced to stay outside of America because we were afraid that if she returned, she might be harmed at the airport. At first, I decided to return alone because our son was still here. He truly loves America and dreams of building his life here.
My wife and I have made huge efforts to work honestly, to be useful for this society, and to live with dignity. We worked hard, studied, got our commercial driver’s licenses, and spent many sleepless nights earning our living. We never received a cent of government aid — we always supported ourselves and our child on our own. Our son studied well and received awards for his grades.
Because we called Stepan Bandera a hero of Ukraine, the Polish mafia is still persecuting us. For a year now, my wife and I have been fighting back. Historically, Bandera stood up against the Polish Home Army, which oppressed Ukrainians — and we spoke this truth openly.
These people repeatedly tried to create dangerous situations for us: in Wisconsin, they tried to damage the brake system on our 40-ton truck. This could have caused a terrible tragedy — we, our child, and other innocent families could have died.
A dishonest employer connected to them did not pay me by check as agreed, so I would have trouble paying taxes. But I paid my taxes anyway. They even destroyed our mailbox — our letters were thrown on the floor so anyone could take them. The building worker ignored our complaints and deliberately acted in their interests.
Since August 1, 2024, we have been fighting against this Polish criminal group that wants to destroy not only Ukrainians but other peoples too — including Americans.
I have appealed for help many times to the police, the FBI, and other government agencies. But they remain silent, as if they do not hear or see the danger. They do not understand that today this gang came to my home, but tomorrow they may come to theirs. If they stay silent, it means they do not even care about their own families. I know that someone powerful is protecting these criminals.
I appeal to everyone who is not indifferent:
Do not stay silent! Do not be afraid! Do not stand aside!
I believe in justice and know that the truth must win. For a year now, my wife and I have been fighting this mafia. Today I need the support of people who are not afraid to stand for what is right.
