During an event held in honor of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Washington, D.C., Barron Trump had the opportunity to finally meet soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now 40 years old.
President Donald Trump, 79, proudly shared the moment with attendees, stating, “This room is filled with some of the biggest leaders in the world, in business, and in sports. My son is a huge fan of Ronaldo, and Barron got to meet him.” He also mentioned that he believes Barron now has a newfound respect for his father after the introduction to Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, a Portuguese soccer superstar, recently signed with Al Nassr in 2023, becoming the face of the Saudi Pro League. In an interview, he referred to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as his “boss” and expressed his desire to meet President Trump, whom he admires for his ability to make things happen.
When asked about his intentions to meet with Trump, Ronaldo emphasized his desire for a peaceful world and hinted at a shared connection that he would reveal in person. He also joked about a potential debate with Trump on who is more famous globally.
Meanwhile, Barron Trump, who was rumored to have dropped out of New York University, is currently attending classes at the university’s Washington, D.C. campus and residing in the White House.
