In a recent episode that sparked both concern and amusement, Donald Trump, as per Republican insiders, seemed somewhat oblivious to the specifics of the legislation he was pushing—legislation that encapsulated his entire political agenda. While it’s not uncommon for presidents to stumble verbally under the immense pressure of their roles, Trump’s situation appears to transcend mere slip-ups.
As time passes, the public manifestations of his cognitive decline seem increasingly evident.
The latest instance of this came during a speech in Iowa, where Trump mistakenly referred to his Interior Secretary, Doug Burgum, as having been a “great governor of North Carolina,” despite Burgum actually having served as the governor of North Dakota. Trump’s confusion extended further, as he implied that the Interior Secretary oversees energy matters and acts as a landlord, a role that misunderstands the very purpose of the Department of the Interior, which is tasked with managing natural resources rather than renting land.
In essence, Trump appears to conflate the roles of his cabinet members, highlighting a concerning disconnect regarding the responsibilities of his administration.
While mainstream media outlets have devoted significant attention to the question of Joe Biden’s cognitive fitness, they seem to overlook these glaring inconsistencies in Trump’s public statements. This raises an intriguing question: Why do we see such disparate media treatment of two men who share similar ages and past leadership experiences?
The failure to accurately report on Trump’s public missteps leads to a skewed narrative. It’s not merely a matter of cognitive abilities; it’s about how these narratives are framed in the media.
It falls upon us to ensure that the realities of Trump’s public behavior are brought to light, even when the media refrains from doing so.

The red hats are in denial. Sleepy Joe’s brain was in decline, but the MAGA cult is too delusional to acknowledge that Trump did and still does ALL of the things he attacked Biden for, in terms of ‘cognitive issues’. Slurring words, mispronouncing simple words, forgetting names, forgetting cities, having to be directed on/off stage by someone. And let’s not forget the most objectively hilarious Dementia Don moment. While on stage attacking Biden’s mental decline and bragging about ‘acing’ his own dementia test, as if it were an IQ test, Trump stares right at the doctor (Ronny Jackson) who administered the test, and called him ‘Ronny Johnson’. So many Trump jokes write themselves. Trump’s brain is now as soft and deformed as what he excretes into his diaper.
