The conundrum of initiating a conflict without a clear resolution has seemingly led Donald Trump down a peculiar path, one that raises concerns about his grasp on reality.
During what was intended to be a Women’s Month celebration at the White House, where Trump even received a fictitious accolade for purportedly defending women in sports against transgender athletes, his speech took a bewildering turn.
Consider this gem from Trump:
“I recognized immediately when I came into the room; I looked down, I said, ‘cause I didn’t read. If I prepare my speeches, I won’t have time to get things done, you know? Do you ever hear that? Yeah. I cannot prepare, so I didn’t know who the hell I was speaking to, but I walked in and I saw this beautiful woman with the blonde hair.”
“I watched that bobsled. I don’t know how the, how do you do it, Kaylee? But Kaylee was, uh, the star, big star of the Olympics and other Olympics also. And she’s, she’s a six-time Olympic medalist.”

In a moment that could only be described as surreal, Trump seemed to drift further from coherence. It’s worth noting the irony of a man with a history of serious allegations against women addressing a Women’s Month event by fixating on a blonde with stunning hair.
Voters, it seems, chose this reality show star for his economic promises, yet they’re now facing a potential spike in gas prices, with predictions hovering around five dollars per gallon.
Trump also lamented the lack of acknowledgment for his role in America’s upcoming 250th anniversary:
“And we have the Olympics. We have the World Cup coming up, and we, uh, have 250, you know, the really the biggest of is 250 and I did all three of them. I got the Olympics, then I got the World Cup, then I got 250, but I’ve never been given credit for that. The men, they won’t give me credit for 250 years, but I’m here for 250.”
“I tried to take credit for that, but I haven’t been able to get it.”

But wait, there’s more—the former president was just getting warmed up.
