An impending shutdown is set to inflict economic repercussions of substantial magnitude. Yet, in a startling twist, Trump announced additional tariffs through his social media platform, signaling an inclination to escalate the economic dilemma further.

Trump stated:

“Beginning October 1, 2025, we will impose a 100% Tariff on any branded or patented pharmaceutical product, unless a company is actively constructing a manufacturing plant in the United States. “Starting October 1, 2025, we will impose a 50% Tariff on all kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and associated items.
