Initially, it was somewhat amusing—watching a president wade through a sea of conspiracy theories while accepting dubious accolades from international soccer bodies. However, the stakes have escalated dramatically. The specter of his mental decline now looms over potential military conflicts, where the lives of U.S. service members hang in the balance.

As inflation rates soar and the cost of living spirals out of control, Trump’s administration resembles a ship taking on water—steadily sinking under the weight of its own delusions. His current agenda is a surreal blend of fighting imagined drug wars, reminiscent of a bizarre crossover between the Reagan era and a particularly grim episode of Miami Vice.

In a recent interview with Politico, following their generous bestowing of the title “most influential man in Europe” upon him—akin to giving a child a Happy Meal toy—Trump’s fractured mental state became painfully apparent. When asked by Politico’s Dasha Burns about deploying U.S. troops to Venezuela, his response was a chaotic jumble of half-formed thoughts:

I can say this, that, uh, he sent us millions of people, many from prisons, many drug dealers, drug lords, uh, mental institution … people in mental institutions.
