At an aviation event in Michigan, Trump’s Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy faced questions from reporters. Rather than aviation, the focus was on gas prices.
One reporter inquired, “A lot of people around here can’t afford to fly. Can you say something about the dollar– Gas prices are a dollar more than they were a year ago. Can you talk to us about that?”
Secretary Duffy initially attempted to redirect the blame to Biden, stating, “Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for having us. I appreciate the questions that come today. We don’t wanna overhear a complaint about about Joe Biden’s inflation, which is wild.”
However, blaming Joe Biden for the gas prices seemed unconvincing, given that Biden has been out of office for nearly two years.
